Hi I am Julie Turner and I am beginning this blog just because I love to write and talk about stuff, so I hope that what I say will be of interest to anyone who reads it.
My life began rather strangely. I was adopted as a baby in 1964. A long time ago. I have no idea who my real parents are, and for the most part it has not bothered me up until now. All of a sudden now well into my 40's, this has become a burning issue.Not sure why exactly.
I was born in the UK and now I live in Australia, so with very little money I have no way of getting to England to look up about who my birth parents actually were, so it will probably be something I will never know, until heaven I guess.
I am married to Paul for the last 29 years WOW! We have 6 children. 5 boys and 1 girl. They are all my beautiful treasures and great blessings from God. How dear each child is to me.
I am a literal 6 day creationist Christian, which is kind of a long title, but it means that I believe that the whole word of God is true from Genesis to Revelation.
In 1992 I learned about the Amish people and for a long time I have been studying their faith and their life.
I have learned so much from them, and they have helped me to truly have a closer relationship with the Lord.
My faith is Anabaptist and I live as plain and as simple as I can. I wear a head covering and dress plain.
Well that is me so far... I hope I haven't bored you too much in reading this.
I'll write more later if I get a spare few minutes in my very tight and busy schedule.
